Last post reflection

This course was an amazing and interesting course to do, because is an application course were we was implementing the application tools by teaching session and training session of web.20 project. In addition I learn many new tools and know how to use it such as:-

Google Chrome:  Is a browser that easy to use and the most useful tool that have the app store, which you can download many programs. Moreover, after download goggle chrome I prefer to use this brows either than other.

Google Plus: Individual application that you can shear everything publicly such as Photo, text, video, links and event. Also this social media have a video that call hangout, which you can call anyone from anywhere.

Google Site: program that you create by your own and you can share anything publicly where anyone can get benefit while use it.

Google drive: which is an individual application can be used to create file and folder and share it with who you want. Also I like that I can open it from anywhere and update any kind of information that saved in Google drive even if you send it to your friend.

Prezi: I like it so much and I’m sad because I didn't know it before to use it. Where you can easily find a nice theme for the presentation

Google maps: This application is suitable to use and I’m already use it by my phone.

Drop box: It is nice application to used where I can open it from anywhere.

Diigo: It’s a new thing that I like it so much where you can write note in any website and return to it back, were to not forget the website when you find good information.

Google calendar: The most useful program to use it where I find it great, because I can manage my time while I’m using it.

Picasa: By download this program where I find it easy and simple to use, because I can edit any picture and share it. Moreover, I like the movie maker that you can effortlessly use just select the photo and click play.

Blog: I love this program is like diary you can share your daily life with anyone.

Google Docs: I prefer to use Google Docs because simply to apply and send.

50 Portraits Exhibition

While I’m entering the exhibition I liked the way of presenting the background of the artist himself. I liked the way there presenting the photographs too. Moreover, I loved the section of white and black photographs; it includes many elements of photography that we learned in our course. In the gallery I realized that most pictures of Gregory Heister that displayed were about many well-known personalities in the world. Including representatives such as Julia Robert, Hugh Grant, Hillary Clinton and Michael Phelps. Also the presidents such as George W. Bush and Yasser Arafat. Gregory Heister was taking those pictures of who wish to be like them and follow their tracks.

From my point of view I think the photographer had focused more on the face in most of his photographs. In addition, most of his pictures were about taking photo of people around the wide world from many different societies and cultures. Moreover, Gregory Heister used the focus lighting in his pictures as you can see in the papers that provide us. There are many pictures have elements like light focus for example this pictures below shows the side lighting which will make the photo be more attractive for the viewers.

I loved all the pictures that were display in the exhibition. The pictures lets you feel and know that behind all people that Gregory Heister took their photos there is a story that describe their life such as success, optimism and efforts. While you saw the pictures I feel that each person in the picture wants to tell you their best achievement until they arrived to this success as they're famous. Also many characters let me feel that they are happy in their life or they may be happy, because Gregory Heister took their personal photograph.

Extra food will lead to throw it away!

While walking to the college cafeteria I saw many tables inside the cafeteria had this view, were extravagance in food. In our religion the waste of food and drink are a bad habit, were mentioned Holy Quran “and eat and drink, but be not prodigal. Lo! He loveth not the prodigals.” 7:31.  This extravagant eating the god will punish us by the Day of Resurrection, we should know the size of eating and drinking, and do not take more than what we need. In the other hand, In our society the food and the dessert must be more and does not detract.

Water Profusion

Water is something essential in human life, but some of us are abusing this gift from God.  Many in poor countries suffer from lack of water, were many of people in our country used it the wrong way. As you can see above the house maid an example of abusing water, where she cleaning the house floor by water and Irrigate plants profusion. We should educate people through leaflets and advertisements on saving of using water and there are many ways, such as drip irrigation, a process prevalent among community.

My Father my role model in my life, were he was basketball player in the UAE team. when he retire from playing because of an injury in his leg. But he did not refrain from achieving his dream I've tried to be in this basketball area, so he become a coach with special needs players to realize their dream of playing basketball.  In this year for the Fazza Championship for the sixth international wheelchair basketball. My father was UAE coach basketball wheelchairs were they take the third place.
